Higuera Scores 15 to Lead Pittsfield Boys Past Hoosac

"We were out rebounded, out hustled, and pretty much outplayed in every part of the game," Pittsfield coach Steve Ray said. "We got a tremendous effort from juniors Louis Higuera and Connor McDonough that kept us in the game. Gerry McDonough's foul shooting in the last few minutes was key."
"They are a tough team, we dodged a bullet tonight."
Connor McDonough scored 11, and Higuera had a team-high 15. Chad Shade added 10 in the win.
Hoosac's Jameson Coughlan scored a game-high 22, and Matt Koperniak had 16.
Pittsfield (9-2) hosts Smith Academy on Thursday. Hoosac Valley (9-3) hosts Drury on Friday.
