Ullrich Sets Mount Everett Scoring Mark in Loss
CHICOPEE, Mass. – It was another milestone night for Mount Everett senior Michael Ullrich, who Thursday became the leading scorer in the history of the school’s boys basketball team in a 57-52 loss to Hampden Charter East.
Ullrich, who scored a game-high 23 points in the defeat, set the scoring mark in the third quarter.
Ken Njuguna scored 13 points to lead Hampden Charter, which came from behind for the win by outscoring the Eagles, 21-9, in the fourth quarter.
Sean Warren scored 12 for Mount Everett.
The Eagles (12-5) are at Mount Greylock on Monday.
