McCann Tech Boys Come from Behind for Road Win

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Ethan Sheldon scored 25 points, and the McCann Tech boys basketball team overcame an early 10-point deficit Thursday to earn a 60-53 win over Hampden Charter.

 

Lukas Zelazo scored 13, and Billy Gallipeau added 10 for the Hornets (9-2), who bounced back from their second loss of the year.

 

Hampden Charter was up, 22-12, at the end of the first quarter and led by five at half-time, but Zelazo scored nine in the third quarter to help McCann Tech take control of the game and take a four-point lead into the fourth.

 

The Hornets are home on Tuesday to face Franklin Tech.
