DALTON, Mass. – Tim Kaley finished at 2-under-par to earn medalist honors and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 154-185 win over Monument Mountain that clinched a perfect season for Wahconah.

Kaley birdied the third, fifth and seventh holes on his way to a round of 33 as both he and his team continued a season of dominance on the links.

“Tim had a record breaking season, shooting even par or better in 10 of 14 matches and finishing with a 35.1 scoring average to cap off a tremendous career for Wahconah,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “It has been a privilege to coach Tim the past six seasons. The work ethic and determination to be better are second to none.”

Carter Drake finished at 37, and all six Wahconah golfers carded rounds of 46 or lower on Senior Night at Wahconah Country Club.

“Tim wasn't alone this season,” Terpak said. “Our team played well all year. We had big contributions from veterans like Carter Drake and Sam McLaughlin. Also the young guns, Logan Aitken and Kesler Anello played very well. I'm super proud of these boys and our squad. It's been a blast all season.”

Greg Kay carded a 39 to lead Monument Mountain.

Kay will tee off in the first group on Sunday at the Berkshire Classic at the Country Club of Pittsfield.

The season-ending 18-hole individual event will feature five players from Wahconah in the 24-player field: Kaley, McLaughlin, Anello Aitken and Drake.
