Bateman Scores Twice, but Taconic Girls Fall on the Road

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. -- The Belchertown girls soccer team scored five first-half goals en route to an 8-4 win over Taconic on Wednesday.

 

Jenna Bateman scored a pair, and Rianna Gittens and Sydnie Sherman each scored a goal for Taconic, which got 14 saves from Jackie Boateng.

 

Taconic (5-5) hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
