STAMFORD, Vt. — The Stamford Community Library will present "Galápagos: The Enchanted Islands" on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.

The program, given by Mars Vilaubi, Photographer/Videographer at Storey Publishing, chronicles the adventures of his family's Covid-postponed trip to the Galápagos Islands in July of 2022. Vilaubi was joined by his wife Alethea Morrison, Storey Creative Director, and their son, Xavier, then a junior at Hamilton College.

The program will feature photography of the islands' unique flora and fauna. Vilaubi has been an avid birder his entire life.

This event is part of the library's ongoing Local Author series.

Vilaubi co-authored "An Absolute Beginner's Guide to Keeping Backyard Chickens" with Jenna Woginrich and co-authored "Homegrown Honeybees" with Morrison. They live in Williamstown.

The library is at 986 Main Road, Stamford. All are welcome.
