Tatro Leads McCann Tech Girls in Road Win

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Kaylee Tatro led three players in double figures Monday as the McCann Tech girls basketball team started February by ending a three-game skid.

 

Tatro scored 13 for the Hornets in a 52-37 win at Easthampton.

 

Isabella LaCasse scored 12, and Grace Towler added 10 in the win.

 

McCann Tech was up 48-25 going into the fourth quarter.

 

“We have been struggling to move the ball and create offense,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “Tonight we did a great job of moving the ball to find the open player. This is a step in the right direction being in the second half of the season.”

 

The Hornets (6-8) go to Mohawk Trail on Tuesday.
