Brown Leads Way as Pittsfield Boys Clinch State Tournament Berth

DALTON, Mass. – Da’Sean “Nunu” Brown scored 31 points Friday to lead the PIttsfield boys basketball team to a 72-54 win over Wahconah.

 

Brown made five 3-pointers in the win.

 

Malachi Perry scored 18 for the Generals (10-5), who won their fourth straight and qualified for the Division 3 State Tournament.

 

Aidan Hagmaier scored 13 points to lead Wahconah, which got 12 apiece from Evan Alfonso and Pat McLaughlin.

 

Pittsfield will look to improve on its seeding on Tuesday when it goes to West Springfield.

 

Wahconah (7-7) is at Taconic on Tuesday.
