Koffi Homers in Opener as Mounties Win on Road

NORTHFIELD, Mass. – Malia Koffi went 3–for-3 with a home run and five RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 22-3 win over Pioneer Valley in the Mounties’ season opener.
 
Koffi also doubled twice in a 14-hit attack for Mount Greylock.
 
Kaleigh Jaros was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and scored four times, and Audrianna Pelkey went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Jaros and Kyleigh Cooper combined to strike out six and allowed two earned runs in the five-inning win.
 
Mount Greylock (1-0) is at Wahconah on Wednesday.
