WARE, Mass. – Jack Goodreau scored 34 points Tuesday to lead the Ware boys basketball team to a 73-67 overtime win over Hoosac Valley.

Goodreau scored 28 points in the second half and OT, when he had eight points.

Jack McKeever scored 17 points in the win.

The Hurricanes had a chance to win in regulation, up two points with seconds left and going to the foul line. But Hoosac Valley missed both shots.

“Ware came down and missed their shot but got the rebound, and Goudreau made a putback on the final rebound and sent the game into overtime,” Hoosac Valley coach Bill Robinson said. “Ware came up with the big plays at the end to win in OT.”

The Hurricanes’ Trevor Moynihan matched Goodreau with 34 points. Adan Wicks scored 17.

Hoosac Valley (6-7) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.
