Hopkins Softball Advances Past Lenox

HADLEY, Mass. – Isabelle Palmisano went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI Friday to lead the Hopkins Academy softball team to a 13-2 win over Lenox in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D tournament.

 

The Golden Hawks collected 11 hits and took advantage of eight Lenox errors to produce nine unearned runs against Lenox pitcher Evelyn Julieano.

 

Hailey Armold went 2-for-3, and Gabriella Hall drove in a run for the Millionaires.

 

Lenox (12-8) learns Wednesday who it will face in the first round of the state tournament.
