Carpenter, Mount Everett Blast Housatonic Valley

CANAAN, Conn. -- Gwen Carpenter went 6-for-6 to lead a 23-hit Mount Everett attack in a 17-1 win over Housatonic Valley Regional on Wednesday.

 

Marion Devoti went 5-for-6, and Madison Ullrich was 3-for-6.

 

Faith Angell struck out 15 against just three walks and two hits to get the complete-game win.

 

Mount Everett (7-3) goes to Wahconah on Thursday.
