Goyette, Hornets Winners on Senior Day

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Meg Goyette went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBis Friday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 9-1 win over Mohawk on Senior Day on Friday.

 

In the circle, Goyette struck out seven and scattered eight hits to earn the victory.

 

Mya Daigneault went 3-for-4, and Hailey Miller was 2-for-2 with a triple.

 

Ayrian Quinones doubled and drove in a run in a 2-for-2 afternoon, and Sarah Fortini went 2-for-3.

 

The Hornets (15-5) travel to Smith Vocational on Monday in the first round of the State Vocational small school division tournament.
