Easthampton Softball Downs McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Easthampton's softball team defeated McCann Tech, 18-6, on Saturday behind a 3-for-4 performance from Stacey Slatterly.

 

Alana Quinones went 3-for-3 with a double, and Taylor Sprage was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs batted in for the Hornets (0-3).

 

"We are a very young team, and we are improving but have a lot of work ahead of us," McCann coach Robin Finnegan said. "If we all remain positive, I see good things coming."

 

McCann hosts Granby on Monday afternoon.
