Leary Scores Five to Lead PHS Boys Lax to Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Brenden Leary scored five goals to lead the Pittsfield boys lacrosse team to a 12-4 win over Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

 

Zack Czarnecki scored twice, and Kevin Quinto had a goal and three assists for the Generals (7-5).

 

Nickolai Pixley stopped six shots to earn the win in goal.

 

Hoosac (4-6) got two goals from Brenden Ellsworth and one each from Tyler Jayko and Chaise Labrie.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Greylock on Wednesady.

 

Pittsfield hosts Wahconah on Thursday at the Egremont School.
