Forfa Pitches Wahconah to Western Mass Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Ethan Forfa struck out eight hitters to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 3-1 win over Easthampton in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 quarter-finals.

 

Andrew Beaudoin drove in two runs with a single in the bottom of the fifth to erase a 1-0 deficit.

 

Third-seeded Wahconah (15-6) travels to Wesfield State on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. sectional semifinal against seventh-seeded Hampshire Regional (15-5). Hampshire upended No. 2 Southwick on Monday, 1-0.
