Rylander Leads Drury in Road Opener

ORANGE, Mass. – Carson Rylander went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs Wednesday to lead the Drury baseball team to a 13-0 win over Mahar in the Blue Devils’ season opener.

 

Rylander also struck out six in 2 and a third innings of work in relief of starter Connor Hinkell, who had nine Ks in the combined, five-inning no-hitter.

 

JJ Prenguber was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 13-hit attack for Drury.

 

Jake McAllister, Brayden Durant and Brayden Canales each had a pair of hits.

 

Drury (1-0) goes to Lee on Thursday.
