Freeman Leads Lenox Past Monument Mountain

LENOX, Mass. – Mia Freeman carded an even par round of 37 Friday to lead the Lenox golf team to a 159-200 win over Monument Mountain at Wyndhurst.

 

Freeman finished her day with a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole to earn medalist honors and help the Millionaires post their lowest team score of the fall.

 

Hunter Shepardson was right behind her with a 39 that included a birdie on the par-4 third hole. The Millionaires’ Noah Pinsonneault also birdied the third hole.

 

Monument Mountain was led by Greg Kay with a 43.

 

The Spartans go to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.

 

Lenox (7-2) goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.
