Monomoy Stops Lenox in Round of 16

LENOX, Mass. – The Monomoy girls tennis team Tuesday lost just six games in singles play en route to a 5-0 win over Lenox in the Division 4 State Tournament Round of 16.
 
Tatiana Malone, Lilly Gould and Hanadi Rezk each earned a straight-set win in singles play for the 10th-seeded Sharks (16-4).
 
Monomoy moves on to face Manchester Essex on Saturday in the state quarter-finals.
 
Lenox finishes the season with a record of 15-2 and a Western Massachusetts tournament title.
