Mount Greylock Girls Sweep Ware to Reach Western Mass Semis
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jenna Benzinger had 11 kills Monday to lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Ware in the Western Mass Division 3 quarter-finals.
Dagny Albano recorded 16 assists for the Mounties, who prevailed by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.
Carly Munzer had four aces in the win.
Second-seeded Mount Greylock (17-2) hosts No. 6 Frontier (9-11) on Wednesday at 6:30 in the semi-finals. Frontier beat Athol in four sets on Monday evening.
