Lynnfield Stops Mount Greylock, 4-1, in Quarters

LYNNFIELD, Mass. -- The Lynnfield girls tennis team swept the doubles points en route to a 4-1 win over Mount Greylock in the quarter-finals of the Division 4 State Tournament on Sunday.
 
The Mounties got their point at second singles, where Mia Patrick stayed unbeaten at the position this season.
 
Patrick battled to a first-set win in a tie-breaker before going on to a straight-set win.
 
At third singles, the Mount Greylock's Charlotte Holubar went to three sets before succumbing, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2.
 
Third-seeded Lynnfield (15-6) moves on to the Final Four and a match against Manchester-Essex.
 
Mount Greylock finishes the season at 16-4
