Pope Francis Girls Tennis Edges Mount Greylock

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- The Pope Francis girls tennis team Friday swept the singles points en route to a 3-2 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Liz Goncalves won at first singles, 6-0, 7-5, and Elita Vale took the No. 2 match, 6-4, 6-3. The Mounties forfeited at third singles.

 

Mount Greylock won both doubles matches.

 

The tandem of Emma Stankiewicz/Orianna Van Slycke won, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 1 doubles. At second doubles, Izzy Leonard and Olivia Winters won, 6-4, 6-1.
