Hall Leads Taconic Golfers at Western Mass

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- The Minnechaug golf team edged East Longmeadow by four strokes Tuesday to win the Western Massachusetts Division 1 championship at Chicopee Country Club.

 

Shawn Amari of North Middlesex took medalist honors with a score of 3-over-par 74, edging Westfield's Brian Macintosh by one stroke.

 

Taconic, which placed 11th at the sectional, was led by Mitch Hall, who carded an 83 to tie for 24th place in the 77 golfer field.
