Lee Girls, Mount Greylock Boys Get Tennis Wins

LEE, Mass. -- Sarah Winston defeated Tara Shastri, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles to lead the Lee girls tennis team to a 5-0 win over Mount Greylock on Friday.

 

In the boys match, the Mounties dropped just two games en route to a 5-0 win.

 

The Wildcats did not drop a set in their five wins. They got singles points from Ashley Kelly and Kayla Witters at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.

 

In doubles, Lee got victories from the tandems of Maddy DeSantis/Suriana Lee and Kate DelSignor/Anna Wang.

 

Nyein Soe, Will Nolan and Josh Narey swept the singles competiton for Mount Greylock's boys. In doubles, the Mounties got wins from Jake Foehl/Gray Kaegi at first doubles and Matt Wiseman/Brady Foehl at second doubles.
