EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Caprese Conyers scored in the closing minutes Tuesday to give the Pittsfield girls soccer team a 1-0 win over Easthampton.

Madison Stetz set up Conyers for the game-winning goal.

Harolyn Castillo stopped 11 shots to earn the shutout in goal.

“Halfway through the second half, we moved Caprese and Abby Wong on their sweeper and that made a difference to better opportunities,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “Madison played the ball perfectly and Caprese found the corner.”

Pittsfield finishes the season with a record of 4-13-1.

“What a great ending to a season of growth and accomplishments,” West said. “Our seniors, Molly [Pope], Cari [Sherman] and Celia [Cantarella], were fantastic leaders this fall and I’m beyond proud to lead this amazing group of girls.”
