Lee Shuts Out Monument

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Cam Abderhalden threw for one score, and Adam Finnegan ran for one to lead the Lee Wildcats to a 12-0 win over Monument Mountain on Saturday.
 
Abderhalden thew a 7-yard pass to Nick Castillo to get the 'Cats (5-3) on the board in the first quarter.
 
Finnegan ran it in from the 2 in the second quarter, and that was all the scoring either team would allow in this defensive struggle.
 
Now Lee will have to wait and see if the MIAA power rankings allow it to move into the fourth playoff spot in Division 6.
 
The Wildcats entered the weekend in sixth place with 9.57 points, behind Ware (10.17) and Franklin Tech (10.5).
 
Monument will learn on Nov. 2 which Pioneer Valley team it will play the following weekend.
