Superior Court Briefs: February 22 - February 23
Alonzo Wright, 38, of Lenox pleaded guilty to single counts of possession of suboxone, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Wright was released on personal recognizance pending sentencing on Feb. 29. Wright was in possession of the drugs with the intent to sell when he was arrested on April 15, 2010. He conspired with others to sell marijuana between December 22, 2009 and April 15, 2010.
Ashley Watts, 22, of North Adams pleaded guilty to single counts of possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of alprazolam with intent to distribute, possession of naloxone and buprenorphine with intent to distribute, possession of diazapam with intent to distribute and six counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws.
She was given 18 month suspended sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the oxycodone and one count of conspiracy and placed on two years probation on the remaining charges.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 613 Ashland Street on March 11, 2009.
Michael Bailey Jr., 22, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of distribution of cocaine, distribution of marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Bailey was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail. Bailey allegedly sold cocaine and marijuana and conspired with others to sell marijuana in Pittsfield on December 1, 2011.
Michael Cooper, 35, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of distribution of cocaine - his second offense.
Cooper was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 bail. The charges stem from cocaine sales in Pittsfield on December 2, 2011 and December 20, 2011.
Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Thursday, February 23.
James Kerr, 22, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of breaking and entering in the daytime, two counts of malicious destruction of personal property, two counts of larceny in a building and single counts of receiving stolen property and common and notorious thief.
Kerr was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 cash or $25,000 surety bail. Kerr allegedly broke in to houses in Richmond, Dalton and Pittsfield between October 21, 2010 and January 30, 2012.
Ryan Sullivan, 23, of Hinsdale had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on seven counts of larceny in a building, six counts of breaking and entering, four counts of forgery of a check, four counts of uttering a false check, four counts of identity fraud, three counts of larceny over $250, two counts of malicious destruction of property, two counts of vandalize property and single counts of breaking and entering placing a person in fear, larceny under $250, larceny of a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, larceny of a controlled substance and common and notorious thief.
Sullivan was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $500 bail. Sullivan allegedly broke in to houses in Richmond, Hinsdale, Washington, Dalton, Peru and Pittsfield between April 13, 2011 and November 5, 2011.
