Mount Anthony Swimmers Beat New Lebanon

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. – Braden McManus Wednesday won a pair of events to lead the Mount Anthony Union (Vt.) swim team to a 62-32 win over New Lebanon/Berlin in a co-ed meet.
 
McManus won the 200-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly for the Patriots, who jumped out to a 16-2 lead.
 
New Lebanon rallied with performances from double-winners George Lamphere-Webster (200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke) and Lance Schroder (50 free and 100 free).
 
The New Lebanon 400 free relay quartet of Schroder, Jordan Sotek, Cadence Ward and Lamphere-Webster finished the meet with a win by three-tenths of a second, clocking a time of 4 minutes, 16.76 seconds.
