Longmeadow Girls Pull Away from Pittsfield in Third Quarter
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Longmeadow girls basketball team Thursday outscored Pittsfield, 18-10, in the third quarter to pull away for a 56-46 win.
Emery Sime scored 12 points, and Lexi Garvey added 11 to lead the Generals. Garvey finished with a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds.
Natasha Shade passed out five assists in the loss.
Pittsfield (1-2) hosts Mount Anthony on Tuesday.
