Pittsfield Girls Semi-final Moved

PITTSFIELD -- The Pittsfield High School girls basketball team's Western Massachusetts Division 2 semi-final game has been moved to Thursday, March 6, at 6 p.m. at UMass Amherst's Curry Hicks Cage.

The fourth-seeded Generals (14-7) will face top-seeded Longmeadow (16-5) for a berth in the sectional final.

Pittsfield High will run a fan bus at 4:15 on Thursday afternoon. Permission forms must be returned to the school office by the end of the school day on Tuesday, PHS/Taconic Athletic Director Jim Abel reports.
