Summers Leads Pittsfield in Road Win

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Kyana Summers scored a team-high 17 points and had a strong day all around Monday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 56-47 win over Chicopee Comp.

 

Summers passed out eight assists, swiped the ball six times and grabbed six rebounds in the win.

 

The Generals built a 30-22 lead at half-time on the way to their sixth win in seven games.

 

Harolyn Castillo scored 13 points, and Charlotte Goodnow scored 11. Madison Stetz had 12 boards.

 

Pittsfield (6-3) goes to East Longmeadow on Friday.
