Wahconah Closes Out Regular Season with Win

DALTON, Mass. – Danielle Hagmaier Thursday scored 23 points to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 57-39 win over Pope Francis.

 

Hagmaier scored seven points in the third quarter, when Wahconah outscored the Cardinals, 19-10, to open up a 46-30 lead.

 

Madison McCarthy scored 13 points and Anna Doyle added nine in the win.

 

Wahconah (13-7) learns Saturday who it will open play against in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.
