Wahcoanh Girls Win at Monson

MONSON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy scored 17 points, and the Wahconah girls basketball team Tuesday held Monson to one point in the first quarter en route to a 63-29 win.

 

McCarthy had three of Wahconah’s five 3-pointers.

 

Danielle Hagmaier came on strong late with 10 points in the fourth quarter to finish with 14.

 

Sammie Kaley scored 12, and Gianna Heilbroun added nine.

 

Olivia Chzaran led all scorers with 21 for the Mustangs.

 

Wahconah (1-1) goes to Amherst on Friday.
