Hoosac Boys, Girls to Play Double-header

In a departure from the schedule posted online on Friday night, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Western Massachusetts basketball tournament committee has arranged a treat for Hoosac Valley basketball fans.

Hoosac's boys and girls will play a Western Mass semi-final double-header on Tuesday evening at UMass-Amherst's Curry Hicks Cage.

First the third-seeded boys (15-6) will play unbeaten and second-seeded Renaissance (21-0) at 4:30.

Immediately following at about 6 p.m., the second-seeded Hoosac girls (20-1) will take on No. 3 Granby (19-2).

Admission to Curry Hicks Cage for each session is $10 for adults, $7 for students.

The high school will be running two fan buses, departing at 3 p.m. The cost for non-students is $5. Reservations can be made by calling the school at 413-743-5200.
