McGrath Leads Hoosac Valley Girls Past Monson

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Averie McGrath scored 24 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 49-42 win over Monson.

 

Rylynn Witek scored nine points, and Gabby Billetz pulled down 13 rebounds to go with seven points in the win.

 

Ashlyn Lesure passed out five assists, and Billettz, Witek and McGrath each had four steals.

 

Hoosac Valley (6-1) hosts Hampshire on Tuesday.
