AMHERST, Mass. – Jaelynn Walker scored 25 points Wednesday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 50-21 win over Amherst-Pelham.

Kiannah Josephs scored 13 points, and Jalana Smith added six for the Thunder, which jumped on top early, taking a 35-10 lead into the locker room at half-time.

Taconic (2-7) is at South Hadley on Friday.
