Phillips Leads Taconic Girls Past Minnechaug

HOLDEN, Mass. -- Ahliya Phillips scored 16 points Sunday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 42-36 win over Minnechaug.

 

Phillips also grabbed five rebounds and passed out a team-high six assists in Taconic's fourth-straight win.

 

Ciany Conyers scored 12. Tamia Patrick scored six and pulled down nine rebounds. Taea Bramer and Faith cross each had seven boards.

 

Taconic (17-1) plays either host Wachusett or Brookline on Monday.
