Mount Everett Girls Win Eighth Straight

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Gwen Carpenter scored 20 points Thursday to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to its eighth straight win, a 50-27 victory over St. Joseph.

 

Parker Snyder scored 12 for the Eagles, who jumped out to a 36-12 half-time lead and then held the Crusaders to a single point in the third quarter.

 

Mount Everett (14-3) on Monday travels to Williamstown for a rematch with Mount Greylock, which it beat, 45-33, in Sheffield late last month.
