Carpenter, Eagles Down Lenox Girls

LENOX, Mass. -- Freshman Gwendolyn Carpenter scored 19 points, and Jessica Abbott grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to a 36-30 win over Lenox on Tuesday night.

 

The Eagles (5-2) outscored the Millionaires, 25-15, in the second half to erase a 15-11 half-time deficit.

 

Kelsey Netzer scored nine points for Mount Everett.

 

Alice Najimy scored 13 for Lenox (0-6), which travels to Sabis on Thursday.

 

Mount Everett hosts Housatonic Valley on Thursday.
