Hornets Show Improvement in Finale

“Nice win to finish the season,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “We lost to them by three on the road in the second game of the season, so it was nice to see the progress the girls have made.
“We play a very tough schedule and I'm proud of them for sticking with it through the year. They have been battle-tested all season with some very tough games and the definitive win tonight showed how much better that has made them.”
Faith Brazeau scored 12 points, and Madison Rougeau and Aiden Champney added eight and seven, respectively.
Todd scored eight points in the third quarter, when the Hornets outscored St. Mary’s, 18-11, to open up a 41-26 lead.
“I'm super proud of Amaya playing in her last high school game to have a career high 22 and show-out the way she did,” Kratz said. “All of the girls played well and the ball movement was the best we've had all year. Faith, Aiden, Maddy – all of the girls really played hard. I'm happy for all of them to be able to end the season on a positive note.”
McCann finishes the season with a record of 3-17.
