BUCKLAND, Mass. – Emmalee Inman scored 10 points, and the Mohawk Trail girls basketball shot 5-for-8 at the free throw line in overtime to earn a 31-29 win over McCann Tech on Friday night.

“The girls showed some real poise in an intense environment,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “Free throw shooting in a close game really hurt us. The girls continue to play hard but definitely a tough loss.”

Amaya Todd scored nine points, and Aiden Champney scored seven to lead the Hornets.

Todd scored three points in the fourth quarter, when McCann Tech outscored the hosts, 7-2, to force overtime.

McCann Tech (2-17) finishes the season at home on Monday against St. Mary’s of Westfield.
