LUDLOW, Mass. – Reese Carroll scored 12 points Friday to lead the Ludlow girls basketball team to a 39-30 win over McCann Tech.

Carroll and  Kayliana Moret each scored four points in the fourth quarter, when the Lions outscored the Hornets, 13-4, to earn the win.

“Tough loss on the road tonight,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “We had too many turnovers in the first half and really should have had a lead going into the fourth if we hadn’t turned the ball over so much. Still managed to be tied after three, but we ran out of gas in the fourth.”

Brooke Reynolds, Madison Rougeau and Aiden Champney each scored seven points to lead McCann Tech.

The Hornets (0-4) are off until they host Southwick on Jan. 3.
