Gene Wein Holiday Tournament postponed
NORTH ADAMS — The large snow storm that hit the Berkshires Monday morning has caused the postponement of the opening round of the Gene Wein Girls' Basketball Tournament.Two varsity games between Mount Greylock and Wahconah and Drury and Lexox have been pushed back a day. The Mounties will now play the Warriors at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night, while the Blue Devils and Millionaires will meet up following the conclusion of that game at 7:30 p.m. Also on Tuesday, Dec. 28th, the Mount Greylock and Drury JV teams will play at 4 p.m. at Drury's Bucky Bullett Gymnasium.
The second round of the tournament, originally scheduled for Tuesday night, will now take place on Wednesday evening. The consolation game begins at 6 p.m, followed by the championship matchup at 7 p.m.
