Sandifer Leads Taconic Boys to Road Win
LENOX, Mass. -- Deonte Sandifer scored a team-high 15 points, including 11 in the third quarter, to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 66-56 win over Lenox on Thursday night.
Taconic (6-1) scored 20 points in the third to build on a seven-point half-time lead and take a 10-point edge into the fourth.
In that fourth quarter, Brett Murphy and David McIntosh (10 points) each went 3-for-4 at the foul line to preserve that lead.
Jack Cooney and Kyle Reardon scored seven points apiece for Taconic.
Patrick Colvin scored a game-high 19, and Tyler Shepard added 15 for Lenox (2-4), which travels to North Adams to face McCann Tech on Monday.
Taconic takes a five-game winning streak into Monday's home game against St. Joseph.
