LENOX, Mass. – Duke Jaehnig scored 17 points Wednesday to lead the Lenox boys basketball team to a 73-53 win over Smith Vocational.

“Well rounded team win tonight,” Lenox coach Bailey Patella said. “Everyone got in and contributed. We started off the game hot with Duke Jaehnig leading the way, scoring the first 13 of 18 points.”

Luke Gamberoni and Jason Sibley each scored 11 points, and Jaydee Reber added eight for the Millionaires (5-13), who built a 45-20 lead at half-time.

“Team defense and getting out in transition was a key to the game tonight, and I thought we did that well,” Patella said. “We have to come out and bring the same energy and intensity at West Springfield tomorrow.”
