HADLEY, Mass. – Luke Gamberoni scored 22 points, and the Lenox boys basketball team came from behind to earn a 50-45 win over Hopkins Academy on Monday.

The Millionaires trailed, 20-9, after one quarter and came back to take a two-point lead going into half-time.

“It was back-and-forth the whole second half,” Lenox coach Bailey Patella said. “It was tied with under a minute left. Gamberoni drove the lane, got fouled and hit the basket to give us the lead by two and hit the three throw to extend it to three. We held on to win by five.”

Jaydee Reber scored eight points, and Zack Nicotra added six for Lenox.

Chase Earle led Hopkins with 20 points.

The Millionaires (3-2) host Mount Everett on Friday.
