Carlino Leads Lee Past Pioneer

LEE, Mass. – Gianna Carlino scored 18 points, and the Lee girls basketball team Thursday held PIoneer Valley to 24 points through three quarters en route to a 70-36 win.
 
“We got off to a good start defensively and got some transition baskets early on,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “We shared the ball well and had great scoring balance tonight. Everyone got involved and contributed, it was a nice team win.”
 
Tamia Andrade scored 14 points, and Mia Puleri added eight for the Wildcats, who got eight points from Mika Diller.
 
Lee (2-2) goes to McCann Tech on Tuesday.
