Unbeaten Taconic Girls Continue to Beat Team to Beat in County

1. Taconic (7-0)

 

Two more wins for Taconic as they continue to stay perfect on the season. No reason to move them from the top spot this week.

2. Hoosac (5-2)

 

Hoosac Valley continues to dominate each opponent they play with stifling defense mixed with good offense. Another 20-plus point victory secures them the No. 2 spot once again.

3. Wahconah (5-1)

 

The streak continues for Wahconah as they secure two more wins in easy fashion. It looks like they have put that opening game loss behind them.

4. Lee (5-2)

 

Our only movement on the girls side of the power ranking comes from Lee and Pittsfield. Lee slides into the four spot with a South Division win and a loss to North powerhouse Taconic last week. Two more tough tests for the Wildcats on tap this week.

5. Pittsfield (4-4)

 

A solo win during the week finally gets Pittsfield to .500. They will have some work to do if they want to move up the power rankings this week.
