Hanavan, Monument Mountain Boys Top Pittsfield

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Connor Hanavan scored 19 points and the Monument Mountain boys basketball team snapped a two-game skid Monday with a 62-39 win over Pittsfield in the Generals' first action of the winter.

 

Caden Gidarakos and Kyle Wellenkamp scored 11 points apiece, and the Spartans knocked down 11 3-pointers as a team.

 

Sincere Moorer and Toby Gaulden-Wheeler each scored 11 to lead Pittsfield (0-1), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.

 

Monument Mountain (9-4) hosts Drury on Wednesday.
