Athlete of the Week: Hank Barrett
Junior point guard Hank Barrett is an important cog in the Mount Greylock Basketball team and showed it this past week in a big 76-48 win over the defending Division III Western Mass Champion Lenox Millionaires.
Barrett had his best scoring night of the season as he put up a game-high 23 points with six assists, six steals and two rebounds. He knocked down three three-point baskets and went a cool 10 for 12 at the free throw line.
Barrett is averaging 12.1 points per game (second on the team), 3.3 assists per game (tied for first on the team), and has hit 14 three-pointers on the season (second on the team), helping his Mounties to a 7-2 record that puts them in second place in a very competitive South Division.
